PM/Scl Recombinant Antigen ImmuStrip™ Test System
SLR Research is proud to announce the extension of its ImmuStrip(TM) Test System line to include the PM/Scl Recombinant Antigen ImmuStrip™ Test System (for investigational use only). The ImmuStrip™ format allows for the detection of the PM/Scl antibody using a 20µL sample. Unlike traditional methods, this revolutionary technology is a faster and easier test, saving the end user's valuable time and money. It contains 20 strips- each with positive control, negative control, conjugate, developing solution, wash solution, an interpretation worksheet and is completed in 90 minutes or less! Initial trials show sensitivity at 98% and specificity at 100%.
Patient plasma or serum is diluted and incubated with individual PM/Scl ImmuStrip™ strips. If PM/Scl specific antibodies are present, they will bind to the corresponding PM/Scl antigen bands. After washing the unbound serum from the strip, the bound PM/Scl specific antibody is reacted with alkaline phosphatase conjugated anti-human IgG. The strip is then washed to remove the unbound conjugated antibody. Finally, the strip is reacted with a precipitating color developing solution which deposits a purple precipitate onto the antibody reacted antigen bands.
